Hello There! I’m Chloe!
I’m the doula behind Luminous Doula Services.
I’m a birth doula serving Spokane, WA, and the surrounding areas — and I truly believe I’ve found my life’s purpose in this work.
In 2023, I had the incredible honor of supporting my best friend through her third labor and delivery. (Thank you, Chey!) Through my life I’ve always felt drawn to birth, but that experience made it undeniable. Something inside me lit up — I knew I was meant to walk alongside others through this powerful, sacred, transformative time.
I’m married to my amazing wife, and we’ve been happily married since September 2023. She’s a dental assistant with the kindest heart, and together we share our home with three beloved fur babies — two dogs and one cat who keep life cozy, chaotic, and full of love.
When I’m not supporting families, you’ll likely find me sipping coffee, baking a sweet treat, or relaxing at home with my wife and our pets.
Birth work is more than a calling for me — it’s a deep joy and an honor to hold space for families as they step into one of life’s most beautiful transformations.
My Approach
At Luminous Doula Services, my philosophy is simple: you deserve to feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout your birth journey.
I believe your birth is unique to you — there is no “right” way to bring a baby into the world. My role is to walk beside you with warmth, evidence-based guidance, and steady encouragement, so you can make choices that feel right for you.
Empowerment is at the heart of everything I do. You are the expert on your own body and your baby, and I’m here to help you trust that inner wisdom. I approach every birth with compassion and calm, creating a grounded space where you and your partner can feel safe, connected, and confident.
I also believe that knowledge brings peace. By offering clear, evidence-based information and emotional support, I help you move through this season with understanding and intention — no matter what kind of birth you’re planning.
Above all, my care is rooted in inclusivity and respect. Every family, every path, and every kind of birth is honored and celebrated here. Whether your vision includes a home birth, a hospital setting, or anything in between, I’ll be there to hold space, offer comfort, and remind you of your strength.
