Why Hire A Doula?
What does a doula do?
A doula is a trained professional that provides emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after birth. My role is to help you feel prepared, comforted, and empowered — no matter what your birth looks like!
Do you replace my partner or family member?
Not at all! I work alongside your partner, family, and your care team offering tools, reassurance, and support so everyone feels confident and connected.
When should I hire a doula?
Many families reach out early in pregnancy to secure availability and start building a relationship, but it’s never too late! Support can be tailored to your unique timeline.
Are doula services covered by Insurance?
I currently accept Washington Medicaid, but I do not bill directly with other insurances. If your insurance does cover doula support, confirm with them about reimbursement options. If finances are an issue, please reach out.
